Sixteen famous brands take 16,000 m² of retail space in Forum Istanbul (TR)

In the last two months, 16 new brands have opened on an area of more than 16,000 m². As the impact of the global crisis has lessened in Turkey, the organized retail sector has started to become active. Brands that delayed store-opening programs in 2009 are now speeding up their new store investments.
At Forum Istanbul Shopping and Lifestyle Center, which opened 7 months ago, new stores opened in the last two months represent 9% of the total retail space. Forum Istanbul, welcomed Boyner on May 5th, Decathlon on May 19th, Mothercare and Early Learning Center on May 29th and Mudo on June 5th. Boyner started to trade on an area of 5,200 m² with clothing, shoes, cosmetics, accessories, and home decoration products separate to “Boyner Special Brands”. French sports giant Decathlon established its first store in Istanbul on an area of 5,100 m².

In early June, Mudo City opened its biggest store in Istanbul with 2,300 m² offering a wide selection of fashion and home decoration. Mothercare & Early Learning Center, the British infant products brand, opened one of their biggest stores trading on 500 m², with a dedicated area for educational toys to ensure social, physical and intellectual development of children from 0-10.

Other important brands and concepts also joined the Forum family; Ice Museum, Toshiba, Profilo, ETSTur, Pronail, Arçelik, Biletix, Odd Mokok, Luyano and SMYK.

The first store of H&M in turkey will open at forum Istanbul in November H&M will open its first store in Turkey, at Forum Istanbul in November on 2,300 m².

Forum Istanbul has welcomed 11.6 million visitors in its first 7 months.
